Non-Residential Half-Gallon Urinal

Get Up to $75 For Commercial Urinals

Businesses, schools and other non-residential facilities can save water with every flush by upgrading old urinals with water-saving half-gallon urinals. The Tampa Bay Water Wise program offers a rebate of up to $75 per new urinal.

What do I need?

  • A photograph of the gallons per flush (gpf) on each urinal that will be replaced, which may be found on the top of the valve, or a free pre-installation inspection.
  • A purchase receipt.
  • A copy of your utility bill.

How Does it work?

Eligible businesses can replace their existing urinals, using at least 1.0 gallons per flush (gpf), with EPA WaterSense certified urinals using 0.5 gpf. Eligible commercial buildings must have been built prior to 1995.

What are the benefits?

Upgrading to half-gallon urinals results in huge water savings, which can also lower your utility bill. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that a typical office building has the potential to reduce its water use by 26,000 gallons per year simply by switching to half-gallon urinals.

  • The rebate of up to $75 helps with the cost of new urinals.
  • Reduced water use 50% per urinal and you may lower your utility bill.
  • Products that earn the WaterSense certified label are independently certified to ensure they meet water efficiency and quality performance standards.
