Customizable Rebate

This customizable rebate is for projects that improve water-use efficiency in commercial, industrial, institutional and multi-family properties.

  • Florida Friendly Landscaping (TM) conversions
  • Cooling tower modifications and pretreatment systems
  • Commercial Kitchens
  • High Efficiency commercial/industrial processing equipment
  • And More

Application Process

  • Step 1: Determine your water source.
    • If you receive potable water from Pasco, Pinellas or Hillsborough counties or the cities of New Port Richey, St. Petersburg or Tampa, then you’re eligible for the Tampa Bay Water Wise rebate program.
  • Step 2: Contact Ariana Photakis at (508) 868-3313 or aphotakis@egia.org to set up a meeting to discuss the project, and schedule a time for the free pre-inspection before work begins.
  • Step 3: Provide documentation regarding project scope, estimated water savings and project costs, and a rebate amount will be determined.
  • Step 4: After the project is complete, schedule a post-installation inspection and submit the following documentation to receive your rebate:
     – Paid invoice
     – Water bill(s)
     – W9
     – Signed Customer agreement

Additional Funding Opportunity

  • Some projects may be eligible for grant money in addition to the Tampa Bay Water Wise rebate through the Southwest Florida Water Management District’s WISE program. Staff will work with you to determine if this could be a good fit for your project.
  • In addition, if your water source is well or pond water, or outside of our service areas, your project may be eligible for SWFWMD’s program.
